The WVAPA serves the needs of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistant Students who work or reside in the state of West Virginia.


We’d like to invite you to become a member of the West Virginia Association of Physician Assistants. Members enjoy numerous opportunities for professional development and involvement, as well as opportunities to meet and network with peers. The WVAPA's members are committed to their profession and to increasing access to cost-effective, quality health care for patients. The WVAPA is a constituent chapter of the AAPA.

Strong advocacy at the Capitol to protect, advocate and initiate legislation that promotes improved healthcare, medical liability reform and many other issues affecting physician assistants and patients.


Regular communications from the WVAPA regarding the latest information on healthcare developments, advocacy updates from the Capitol and more.


Members receive a personal login to the WVAPA website and InfoHub, the member connection and resource center, that houses member exclusive content, including online newsletter, the Member Directory, and more. The InfoHub enables members to build their profile, register for events, review account history, pay invoices and make donations—all in one place!

Member Directory

Members will receive exclusive access to the WVAPA membership directory and have the opportunity to network with other members, update personal information in the directory and view committees online.

Networking and CME

Members only access to the membership directory, multiple CME available conferences, including WVAPA Annual Conference, web-based CME courses.


Members will receive member-only rates for conferences and other events that will differ from nonmember PA-C’s and the general public.


Members receive a 3-letter code to redeem exclusive negotiated rates at select hotels for personal or business use, 365 days a year. Rates are inclusive of overnight parking and in-room WiFi.
